This stunning skein is spun from a luxurious blend of merino, silk and tweed,on my Schacht Matchless spinning wheel. It has 2 plys consistingof soft green merino and silk with mossy green tweed nepps and one ply of cotton thread that is strung with white seed beads. The beads are spaced between 10 and 13 inches apart and run throughout the entire skein.This merino / silk blend is amazingly soft, has a wonderful sheen and would be great for next to skin projects.
Allergy sufferers please be aware that while I keep all of my fiber stored in totes, I do have two cats that may have come into contact with this fiber during spinning.
Handwash in cool water, lay flat to dry.
