This stunning skein is spun from a luxurious blend of merino and silk,on my Schacht Matchless spinning wheel. It has one ply of creamy taupe combined with oneply of brightblue, green, pink, orange, yellow and purple blended in a way that can only be achieved with handspun. This merino / silk blend is amazingly soft, has a wonderful sheen and would be great for next to skin projects. All of my handspun skeins are truly one of a kind as even skeins made from the same colourway will have a different distribution of colour.
Allergy sufferers please be aware that while I keep all of my fiber stored in totes, I do have two cats that may have come into contact with this fiber during spinning.
Handwash in cool water, lay flat to dry.
