This yarn is hand painted with bright fire engine red and has flecks of natural white throughout. Our mulberry silk is very smooth, has a rich sheen and will have a wonderful drape.  This yarn works wonderfully for knitting, crocheting and weaving.


The yarn will not felt, however I do recommend hand washing to extend the life of the garment. All my yarns are dyed with professional quality acid dyes in a smoke free, pet friendly environment. Be sure to wash silk in cool water as it will bleed and fade quite quickly if washed in warm or hot water.
