This is a commercially dyed and blended top that has blue flax, cream tussah silk and pink muga silk blended with purple merino. Flax is a slightly coarse fiber that softens with washing and wearing. As this flax is dyed it is softer than the undyed flax in our other blends. This is a very soft blend that will continue to soften over time.
This would be a great way to experiment with a new fiber and makes a beautiful textured yarn.
Handwash items made with this item in cool water and lay flat to dry. Please be aware that dark or intense colours will bleed a little when washed for the first time.
